Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Salary: GBP95 - GBP105 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: ASAP / or specify

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering personalised learning plans
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and confidence-building
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teachers and SENCO

About You

  • Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or informal)
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
  • A passion for supporting children of all abilities
  • Teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
  • (Desirable) Qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, or other SEN training
