About the School

As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
- Deliver tailored teaching to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs, using relational and trauma approaches.
- Plan and differentiate lessons that support EHCP outcomes, emotional development and academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO, pastoral staff, therapists and parents/carers to ensure consistent, holistic support.
- Embed emotional regulation strategies and promote positive behaviour through restorative and therapeutic practices.
- Support progress across academic, social and emotional areas.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in SEMH or specialist settings, or strong SEMH knowledge within mainstream education.
- Calm, empathetic and resilient practice with a commitment to trauma teaching.
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners.
- Adaptable teaching methods to meet diverse emotional and learning needs.
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide two professional, education-based references.
