Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group GCSE-level tuition (subjects may include English, Maths and/or Science)
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Support students with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH or other additional needs
- Track progress and provide regular feedback to parents/carers and relevant professionals
- Create a positive, calm and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience tutoring GCSE-level students
- Proven experience working with students with SEN
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant tutoring qualification is desirable but not essential
