For Companies Prospero Teaching are currently seeking dedicated 1:1 tutors in the Southwark area to make a real difference to students' lives. Are you a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Location: Southwark
Type of work: Tuition
Contract type: Temporary
Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing
Full time/part time: Part time
Monday to Friday: up to 25 hours per week per student
Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with SEND students or those who are disengaged
- Proven teaching experience in UK classrooms
- A creative, patient, and innovative approach to problem-solving and student engagement
To be eligible for this role you must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
