We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our welcoming and supportive team in Frome. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional looking to step into a leadership role and make a real difference in children's lives.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the setting
  • Lead and inspire a team of early years practitioners
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained
  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and development
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain compliance with OFSTED standards, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to curriculum planning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support occupancy growth and overall nursery performance
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years / Childcare
  • Proven experience in a senior or supervisory role within a nursery
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for early childhood development and care
