Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Textiles Teacher to work within a secondary school in the Liverpool area. Please see below for further details:

- Position: Textiles Teacher
- Start date: April 2026
- Full time/part time: Full time
- Minimum rate of pay: Paid to scale
- Hours: 8:00 am - 16:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development Delivery: Planning and delivering engaging textiles lessons, including a range of topics.
- Practical Instruction: Demonstrating techniques using a range of resources.
- Student Assessment: Setting, marking, and recording student work, and providing constructive feedback.
- Health Safety: Maintaining a safe classroom environment, managing machinery, and ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
- Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
