As one of our valued Teaching Assistants, you will play a key role in the maintenance and management of the classroom. You will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as assist in a more general capacity.

Contract / Position Details
- Location: Cardiff
- Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities, support class teacher in delivering lessons
- Start Date: September - assignments on-going
- Rate of pay: Minimum 87.96 per day
- Hours: 08:30 - 16:00
Experience Desirable:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
- Experience of working in Primary Schools
- Experience of inclusive classroom practice
- An understanding/awareness of supporting SEND requirements
- Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Drives (not essential)
Eligibility
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
