Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Clacton starting from January 2026. The successful candidate will be supporting children across all primary age groups.

  • Location -near Clacton, Essex
    * Position – Teaching Assistant
    * Contract or position start date – January 2026
    * Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking
    * Contract type – Long-Term
    * Full time/part time – Full time
    * Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate Ā£90 per day
    * Hours – 8:30am- 3:30pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
  • EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous TA experience
    * GCSE English and Maths grade ā€˜C’
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
    * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
    * Provide two professional child related references
