Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Colchester starting from January 2026. The successful candidate will be supporting children across all primary age groups.

Location -near Colchester, Essex
* Position – Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date – January 2026
* Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking
* Contract type – Long-Term
* Full time/part time – Full time
* Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £90 per day
* Hours – 8:30am- 3:30pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous TA experience
* GCSE English and Maths grade \’C\’
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
