Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an excellent Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic secondary school in the Bootle area to start in September 2025! You will play an important role in shaping young minds by providing essential support in the classroom. Your duties include helping students with their individual learning needs, preparing educational materials, and fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment. You collaborate closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly and students thrive academically and socially.

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with lessons: Helping to prepare materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during activities.
- Behaviour management: Helping to maintain a positive learning environment by addressing behavioural issues and encouraging good behaviour.
- Marking and assessment: Assisting with the marking of students' work and recording grades.
- Record keeping: Maintaining records of students' progress and any other relevant documentation.
- Providing emotional support: Offering guidance and support to students who may be dealing with personal issues or stress.
- Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students' overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
- Previous experience working with young people.
To be eligible:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references.
