Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Religious Education to join a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Salford, starting April 2026, on a long-term/temp to perm basis, until at least the end of the summer term.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment. As a Teacher of Religious Education, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching. The school prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere, strong leadership, and commitment to staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential

Qualifications
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
