Overview
Supply SEN TA – Trafford:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking teaching assistants, with experience supporting SEN and SEMH to work with our schools on a day to day, supply basis. This role is part-time and is tailored around your availability.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with SEN and complex needs, both 1-1 and in small groups
- Following school behaviour policies and procedures
- Working closely with teaching staff and SEN specialists to ensure that the needs of all students are met
Position Details
- Location: Trafford
- Position: Supply TA
- Type of Work: Temporary, Day to Day Cover
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 103.95 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: Sept 2025
- End date: Ongoing, supply
Experience, Training & Qualifications
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting SEN/Complex needs in a school or care setting
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
