Are you passionate about engaging and making a real difference in young people's lives? We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic Primary school in Sunderland who are looking for a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the team in January.
In the role you will support a range of pupils with SEND needs and others who require additional support to help them achieve their full potential. This is your chance to be a part of a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment, where your contributions will directly impact the student's academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing targeted support to students across various subjects.
- Individualised Learning: Work closely with students who require additional help, offering one-on-one support and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. (Having knowledge and past experience working with SEND pupils being a bonus!)
- Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies and fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and efficiently.
- Student Welfare: Support the social and emotional well-being of students, acting as a mentor and providing guidance as needed.

- Hours: 8:30-3:30
- Pay: 440-600 per week
