We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in an Early Years setting at a primary school from Easter through to July. This role involves supporting a young boy with an EHCP, Autism, and ADHD. The pupil does not display physical aggression but requires consistent support from someone with clear communication skills.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Bury St. Edmunds
  • Position - Teaching Assistant (1:1 Early Years)
  • Contract or position start date - After Easter
  • Contract type - Long-Term Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full time (Monday to Friday)
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-105 per day
  • Hours - 8.30 am - 3.30 pm (including 30-minute break)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous TA experience
  • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
