We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in an Early Years setting at a primary school from Easter through to July. This role involves supporting a young boy with an EHCP, Autism, and ADHD. The pupil does not display physical aggression but requires consistent support from someone with clear communication skills.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - Bury St. Edmunds
- Position - Teaching Assistant (1:1 Early Years)
- Contract or position start date - After Easter
- Contract type - Long-Term Temporary
- Full time/part time - Full time (Monday to Friday)
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-105 per day
- Hours - 8.30 am - 3.30 pm (including 30-minute break)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous TA experience
- GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
