Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sudbury, starting September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.
The successful candidate will be confident leading small groups and whole-class sessions when required, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - Sudbury
- Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Type of work - Classroom support and intervention delivery
- Start date - September
- Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
- Full time/part-time - Full time
- Rate of pay - £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
- Working days - Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working within a UK school setting
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable
- Experience leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional child-related references
