The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff, you will help pupils to engage with lessons, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils during whole-class learning activities
- Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where required
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a nurturing learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN, where appropriate
- Helping to monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Ensuring pupils' safety, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is caring, reliable, and motivated, with a strong commitment to education. You should ideally have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
