Psychology Teaching Assistant
Location: South Manchester
Contract: Full-time, part-time and temporary
Pay: GBP92.63 - GBP120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Prospero Teaching are looking for Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across South Manchester on a flexible supply basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEN experience to develop their skills whilst working in a team of supportive colleagues. You will play a pivotal role and influence pupils across all key stages depending on your experience. We work with both primary, secondary and specialist schools.
Psychology Teaching Assistant - responsibilities
- Support on a 1:1 or small group basis depending on your experience and school requirements
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of engaging activities and providing individual or group interventions
- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
- Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
Psychology Teaching Assistant - requirements
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in a TA or SEN support role
- Experience supporting pupils across EYFS / KS1 / KS2 settings is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
