Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming primary school in Stockport starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a supportive environment, with access to mentorship and professional development. CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location – Stockport
- Position – ECT Primary Teacher
- Type of work – Class teaching

- Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing / Long-term
- Contract type – Temporary (potential to become permanent)
- Full time/part-time – Full time
- Minimum rate of pay – From £125 per day DOE / Umbrella / PAYE
- Hours – 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Recent experience in a UK primary school (placements accepted for ECTs)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
