We are currently seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in primary schools across Stockport. This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable teacher who can step into the classroom and deliver high-quality teaching from day one.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned KS1 lessons
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and attainment
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's classroom teaching experience in KS1
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
