Your experience adapting lessons, developing early communication and breaking learning into manageable steps could transfer well to this setting. The role involves: Planning accessible lessons around individual learning needs. Developing literacy, numeracy and independence. Using practical activities and clear classroom routines. Working closely with Teaching Assistants. Tracking progress and adjusting teaching accordingly. We welcome teachers with QTS and a primary or Early Years background. Previous specialist school experience is welcome, but applications from teachers with strong mainstream SEND experience are also encouraged. Pay is £160-£260 per day.
