We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QTS Tutor to support students in Stoke-On-Trent. The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one tutoring to students, helping to bridge learning gaps and boost their academic confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Adapt lesson content and pace to support different learning styles and educational needs.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
- Support students in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and engagement with learning.
- Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents, carers, schools, or professionals as necessary.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring.
- Experience working with learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE or additional teaching qualifications.
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs (SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, etc.).
