Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: GBP95+

About the Role
Are you a passionate sports coach looking to transition into a Teaching Assistant (TA) role? This exciting opportunity in a welcoming school in Crosby, Liverpool, allows you to combine your love for sports with education. You’ll play a key role in supporting childrens learning and development, using your coaching skills to inspire and engage students both inside and outside the classroom.

As a Sports Coach working as a TA, you will:

Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and lesson delivery.
Use your sports expertise to lead and assist in physical education (PE) lessons and extracurricular sports clubs.
Work one-to-one and in small groups with students to support their learning.
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles among students.
Create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Requirements:
We are looking for a Sports Coach who:

Has experience coaching or working with children in a professional setting.
Holds relevant sports coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential).
Is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about supporting young learners.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
Is eager to transition into a Teaching Assistant role and develop within an educational environment.

Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Two professional references covering at least the last two years.
