Overview

We are looking for a teaching assistant with a real passion for helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be qualified/experience. Newly qualified lvl 2 and lvl 3 Teaching assistants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
  • Prepare resources with the teacher.
  • Work effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
  • Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • At least Level 2 trained
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
