Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant in Doncaster to start ASAP. Candidates will require experience with challenging behaviours in a SEN setting. This role has the potential to be ongoing.

  • Duration - Ongoing
  • Full time/Part time - Full time
  • Pay Rate - GBP95 - GBP110 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Hours - 8:30 am to 3:30 pm: Mon-Fri (term time only)

Responsibilities

  • Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
  • Prepare resources with the teacher.
  • Work effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
  • Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
