Job description: We are looking for a teaching assistant who is passionate about helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with children who have complex needs. Qualified Teaching assistants are welcome to apply. Details: * Location – Blackburn * Position – Teaching Assistant * Contract or position start date – 06/01/2025 * Duration / Likely Duration – Contract * Contract type – Long-Term * Full time/part time – Full time, Part time considered * Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate is £90 per day * Hours – 0830 – 1530 : Mon – Fri (term time only) Responsibilities: Supporting children in the classroom. Prepare resources with the teacher. Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers. Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.
