The predicted salary is between 22050 - 26950 Β£ per year.

The successful candidate will be confident supporting pupils with complex autism, challenging behaviour and a range of communication and sensory needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant who is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Supporting pupils with complex autism and additional needs
  • Managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Working closely with teachers and specialist staff
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex autism
  • SEND experience within a school or specialist setting
  • Confident supporting challenging behaviour
  • Calm, patient and resilient
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs
