Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Highbridge that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and development while working closely with teaching staff across the primary age range.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Support teaching and learning across the school.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to accelerate progress.
- Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Support children with a range of learning needs and abilities.
