We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join a well-established Further Education College based in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the college's facilities, overseeing maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the college premises
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate repairs
- Supervise contractors and external service providers on site
- Lead and support site staff, including caretaking and facilities teams
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards across buildings and grounds
- Manage budgets related to site operations and maintenance
- Support emergency procedures and act as a key contact for site-related incidents
