We are looking for a History and/or Geography Tutor to support a young person who will be entering Year 10 in September and preparing for their GCSEs.

The student is currently receiving Maths and English tuition and has re-engaged well with learning.

They have ASD and a history of EBSA, so experience working with SEN learners would be highly beneficial.

Requirements

4-6 hours per week Based in the DT9 area Minimum 6 months' experience within education Experience planning and delivering lessons in History and/or Geography ASD/SEN experience preferred Our preference is for one tutor to cover both subjects, but we are happy to consider specialists in either History or Geography.

The Local Authority is also happy for two tutors to be introduced if required.

Successful tutors will be expected to work collaboratively with the student's current Maths and English tutor.

Timings can be discussed directly with the parent to find a suitable schedule for everyone.
