The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

As part of the role, you will be supported by a team of four Teaching Assistants (TAs) and a Senior TA, all of whom will work alongside you to deliver tailored learning experiences and support each child’s individual needs. The contract is initially offered as maternity cover, with the possibility of lasting up to one year, depending on the teacher’s return.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs.
  • Work closely with the support team, including 4 TAs and a Senior TA, to ensure all students receive appropriate interventions and support.
  • Maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages each child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Regularly assess and monitor progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to best support the pupils.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs.
  • Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching methods and behaviour management strategies.
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of TAs and other school staff.
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential.
