Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for English and Maths Tutors in Sheffield. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their learning journey. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children in any capacity whether through tuition, classroom teaching, pastoral roles, or care settings.
Role Details
- Position: 1:1 Tutor
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing / Open ended
- Location: Sheffield
- Working Hours: Flexible to full time
- Pay Rate: GBP20- GBP30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS is desirable but not essential
- Experience working with students on a 1:1 basis
- Proven track record of improving student performance
- Up to date Safeguarding training (desirable; can be provided)
- DBS on the Update Service
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years
