Dedicated and passionate Maths Teachers are required to work across secondary schools in Bromley from September 2026. Prospero are looking for Maths teachers who are willing to do day to day, short term and long term cover mainly to teach KS3 and KS4.
This position is one to five days a week, part time and full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
- Location - Bromley
- Position - Maths Teacher (KS3/4), KS5 (ideally, but not essential for most schools)
- Type of work - Teaching
- Start date - as soon as possible

- Minimum rate of pay - from GBP150 per day or pay to Scale
- Hours - 8:15am to 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
- Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
- Experience of teaching in a Secondary School
