Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic and committed English and Maths Tutors to support students across Sheffield on a 1:1 basis. If you're passionate about helping young people achieve their potential, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Overview

  • Position: 1:1 Tutor (In-Person)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Ongoing / Open-ended
  • Location: Sheffield
  • Hours: Flexible to full time
  • Pay: GBP20-GBP30 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting students on a 1:1 basis
  • A proven ability to help improve student progress
  • QTS is desirable but not essential
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (can be provided)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Eligibility Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
