Prospero Teaching is an education recruitment agency seeking patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 16+ with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in specialist educational settings across Shaftesbury. This role involves providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting with personal care, communication, and learning activities to help students achieve their individual goals in a safe and nurturing environment.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • A degree is not essential
  • At least one year of experience working with young people or vulnerable adults
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the last year (we can provide this if needed)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Ability to provide two professional references related to working with children or vulnerable adults
