Prospero Teaching is looking for caring and experienced SEND Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people in Staffordshire. You'll work with learners who may experience a variety of additional needs and barriers to education. Your role will be to create engaging, supportive sessions that are tailored to each young person's abilities, interests and learning goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and seeing the impact of individualised support.

Position Details

  • Location: Staffordshire
  • Hours: 5-15 hours per week
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • Experience delivering 1:1 tuition, mentoring or teaching
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
  • A patient, creative and adaptable approach

Experience supporting learners with ASC, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs would be advantageous.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide two professional child-related references
