SEND Tutor
Prospero Teaching is partnered with Local Councils and Schools throughout the UK. We have a high demand for one-to-one Tutors with SEN experience in the Norfolk Area.
The Opportunity
As a SEND Tutor, you must be able to create, plan, and deliver 1:1 lessons tailored to each student. The aim of tuition is to support the re-integration process into education. The tuition replaces school for these young people, and each individual is allocated a certain number of hours. Prospero will work closely with you to monitor each pupil\βs progression by requesting weekly reports.

- Hours: Ranging from 6-30 hours per week
- Rate of pay: From Β£21.30 to Β£25 per hour
Your Role:
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition supporting students with SEND, focusing on building confidence, teaching life skills, safe community access, basic cooking, and fostering independence.
- Develop and implement personalised lesson plans addressing individual learning gaps.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.

- Child-related or educational qualification.
- UK education experience.
- Experience working with SEND.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new application.
- Ability to reference the last two years of employment.
