SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (South Liverpool)
Location: South Liverpool
Agency: Prospero Teaching
Salary: GBP105 GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply
The Role:
Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in South Liverpool.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. We offer flexible roles suitable for both full-time and part-time availability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND
Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
Monitor and report on student progress
Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers and external professionals
Requirements
Experience supporting children with SEND (school, care or community settings)
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
Relevant qualifications ( Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) desirable but not essential
