Hours:8;20 AM 4 PM, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
Lead a small group of pupils within the school’s specialist Resource Base
Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
Support children with a range of SEND, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory needs
Use visuals, widgets, and other communication tools to support learning
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO to deliver high-quality provision
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a specialist or base setting
Excellent knowledge of strategies to support non-verbal and autistic learner
A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two years
