The Opportunity
Working as a SEND Specialist Tutor, you'll provide personalised, one-to-one lessons for students with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and sensory needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored, multi-sensory lessons across various subjects
- Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to create effective learning plans
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes growth and independence
This role is ideal for someone who wants to step beyond the traditional classroom and make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, or vulnerable learners. You'll plan and deliver personalised one-to-one lessons that inspire progress and boost confidence.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Have experience working with SEND students
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
To be eligible for this role, you must
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
