Prospero Teaching is working with a well-resourced primary school in Great Barr that is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to lead teaching and learning in their Resource Base, supporting children with complex needs, including ASD, non-verbal communication, and associated learning difficulties.

About the Role:
- Lead a small group of pupils within the school\’s specialist Resource Base
- Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Support children with a range of SEND, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory needs
- Use visuals, widgets, and other communication tools to support learning
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO to deliver high-quality provision
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND, ideally in a specialist or base setting
- Excellent knowledge of strategies to support non-verbal and autistic learner
- A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two years
