Job Title: SEND English Teacher (Post-16)

Salary: 1,000- 1,450 per week (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the role
- Deliver high-quality, tailored English teaching to post-16 students, including Functional Skills, Entry Level and GCSE pathways where appropriate
- Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and Preparing for Adulthood goals
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff and parents/carers to provide a consistent and holistic approach
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream or post-16 environment)
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every young person's progress
To be eligible you must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
