About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, tailored Dance and Drama lessons to learners primarily across KS5
- Create engaging, accessible, and creative schemes of work that support EHCP outcomes
- Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, sensory considerations, and communication styles
- Build positive relationships with students, encouraging self-expression, teamwork, and confidence
- Work collaboratively with the SENCO, therapists, support assistants, and parents/carers to provide a holistic approach
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Dance, Drama, or Performing Arts within an SEN setting (or strong SEN experience within mainstream)
- A calm, patient, empathetic approach and strong behaviour management skills
- Creativity, passion for inclusive arts education, and a commitment to supporting every learner's development
To Be Eligible You Must
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional, child-related references
