We are looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one‑to‑one support for students in Salford. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one‑to‑one tuition in GCSE Maths and English for SEN learners.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual emotional, social, and academic needs.
  • Support learners in developing core subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment that promotes engagement and progress.
  • Track and report on student progress to parents, carers, or relevant professionals.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience working with SEN learners in one‑to‑one or small group settings.
  • Strong knowledge of strategies to support Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEN needs.
  • Experience tutoring or teaching Maths and/or English.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Desirable

  • Teaching assistant or similar educational experience.
  • Knowledge of differentiated learning and adaptive teaching techniques.
  • Familiarity with GCSE curriculum and assessment strategies.
