Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in the Bracknell area on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored educational support outside of a traditional classroom setting.
About the Role
- Provide one-to-one tutoring for children and young people with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Develop and deliver personalised learning plans based on each student\’s individual needs and EHCPs.
- Use creative and engaging strategies to promote learning and build confidence.
- Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals involved in the student\’s education.
- Sessions may take place in the student\’s home, a local community venue, or online.

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Tutor
- QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
- Be confident teaching GCSE classes online
- Provide a firm but fair approach
- Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero\’s course
To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references.
