Our SEN Tutors play a crucial role in supporting learners with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected academic levels. By closing learning gaps and nurturing confidence, you help students realise their potential. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 Maths and English sessions tailored to individual SEN needs.
- Adapt lesson content, structure, and pace to suit diverse learning styles and support emotional regulation.
- Help students build subject knowledge, study skills, and exam readiness.
- Foster a consistent, trusting relationship to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with SEN learners in 1:1 or small-group settings.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- PGCE (Secondary) and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting learners with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
