Are you ready to make a life-changing impact outside the classroom? Prospero Teaching invites passionate educators to step into a uniquely rewarding role as a SEN Outreach Tutor, working 1:1 with young learners across Buckinghamshire who are currently out of formal education.

As an SEN Outreach Tutor, you'll be the spark that reignites a young person's love for learning. Many of the students you'll support have been out of school for some time and may face challenges such as anxiety, special educational needs, or low confidence. Your role is more than tutoring - it's mentoring, guiding, and inspiring students back into education through engaging, personalised lesson plans tailored to their individual needs.

  • Location: Across Buckinghamshire (High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes & surrounding areas)
  • Position: SEN Outreach Tutor (1:1 support)
  • Contract Type: Flexible, temporary

  • Pay: From £25 per hour (DOE)
  • Hours: Part-time or full-time - you decide! Sessions range from 1-3 hours

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) or experienced support staff with SEN expertise
  • Experience supporting young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or similar needs
  • Someone who can connect with disengaged students and build trust
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and confident delivering bespoke tuition across a range of subjects
  • Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one
