Are you an experienced education professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people in Lyme Regis?

We have a number of exciting opportunities for Tutors to support learners in the local area. These roles offer flexible working hours , competitive rates of pay , and the chance to be part of a team making a meaningful impact.

As a Tutor:

You’ll be working with young people who may have additional needs such as:

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Trauma-related barriers
  • Risk of Permanent Exclusion (PEX)
  • Your role will be to provide tailored, 1:1 or small group support that helps learners re-engage with education and achieve their potential.

    About you:

    We welcome applications from individuals with at least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as:

  • Tutor
  • Teacher
  • Cover Supervisor
  • Teaching Assistant
  • ELSA
  • 1:1 Support Worker
  • Or other relevant educational roles
  • Experience working with learners with additional needs is essential.

    Positions Available:

  • Full-time and Part-time roles
  • Flexible scheduling to suit your availability

    Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Experience of working with learners with SEN
  • To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
