Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a range of SEN schools and Alternative Provisions across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas from September 2026. These settings offer a highly rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs, behavioural challenges, or barriers to learning. Many schools are offering temp-to-perm pathways for candidates who show commitment, consistency, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing personalised SEN support to children with a range of needs
  • Assisting with creative, therapeutic and inclusive activities
  • Promoting safety, emotional well-being and positive engagement
  • Supporting daily routines, emotional regulation and independence
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Contract Type: Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunities available
  • Pay Rate: From £14.25 per hour
