We are looking for a teaching assistant with a real passion for helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be qualified/experienced. Newly qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants are welcome to apply.

  • Contract or position start date - October 6th
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Long-Term Contract
  • Full time/Part time - Full time
  • Rate of pay - GBP85 - GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
  • Hours - 8:30 am to 3:30 pm: Mon-Fri (term time only)

Responsibilities

  • Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
  • Prepare resources with the teacher.
  • Work effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
  • Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • At least Level 2 trained
  • GCSE English and Maths grade C

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
