About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher with expertise in Science or Maths to join our team in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality, inclusive education to pupils with additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science or Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN requirements, including those with EHCPs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent progress.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science or Maths, ideally within an SEN setting.
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
